i dedicate this site to my lovely mum.
my mum was born in coatbridge ,where she grew up with her loving family ,the donnachie,s they where
a large family ,she met my dad terry norton ,who worshiped the ground she walked on.
they married in st mary,s church april 1949,
then went on to have 9 children
i being the oldest,i have 6 wonderfull sisters and 2 lovely brothers
who mean the world to me .
when growing up my mum and dad did not have much
like a lot of families in those days
but what we did have was love
my mum and dad made sure of that
my parents were strict with us but iam glad of that today they brought us up making us believe in
our self to be proud and respect our selfs and others but mostly when things get tough walk with
your head held high .
we.ve all as a family had our ups and downs but as mum always said take the good with the bad and
hold yor head up high
we have all been very lucky to have wonderfull children and some of them have had children aswell
now and i hope we can teach our children and grandchildren the lesson my mum taught to me
no matter how hard life becomes walk down the path with your head held high because your just as
good as anyone else .
but the most important lesson is family come first always ; always be there for each other their the
most important people in your life .
we all miss you mum our life has a big hole in it which will never close until we all meet again
were i know you and dad will be waiting to great us one by one then we will be a family again
a mothers love knows no end
first as a child, then as a friend
a mother,s love with tender care,
makes happiness bloom everywhere
in life and and in death
she,ll always be there,
mum, once you held our hands
now you will always hold our hearts
look down on us make us strong
show us there is a reason to go on
gentle jesus up above
give our mum all our love
